File Under Comics

This was a great issue. Grant Morrison has truly done an excellent job over the last seven years with Batman, Batman & Robin and Batman Incorporated. Damien Wayne was introduced by Grant in the start of his run and went on to become one of the best characters in the series.

There was so much going on in this issue. The artist really packed the pages with a visual smorgasbord of gorgeous content. This issue was full of action, more so than most issues. About the only panel without action was when Robin shared with Nightwing that he was his favorite partner. This issue was a thrilling read.

What made this issue great, unsurprising was Damien.

Very few characters in comics have made such an impact and any that have were likely older than 10. So it saddens me greatly to see him die in this issue. But at least in Damien style he wen't out fighting. I would suggest reading this issue but if you haven't kept up with the series it won't mean much. So go back to the beginning and start reading where Grant Morrison started, you won't be disappointed.
